Dear Friends,

Welcome to our 31st Season! My parents, Mike & Lee Hrehovcik started Leemar in 1981, when a priest friend asked my dad to help the ladies in his church kitchen. My dad who was a plastics designer took on the challenge to design a Lamb Butter Mold so that the women did not have to hand-carve the lambs for their Eater Baskets. Thus the first product was born. Shortly after, he came up with the idea of the Egg-in-Wrap, a quick and easy way to make decorated Pysanky eggs. My parents have now passed on and I gain tremendous comfort in knowing that their faith, love and trust in God, has brought them to the Glory that has been promised to us by Christ Himself.

My parents were proud of their Eastern European heritage and the rich history that proclaimed their faith through traditions that honor our Risen Lord. So, with that in mind, we hope you enjoy our website as we continue to serve Americans of Carpatho-Rusyn, Croatian, Czech, Hungarian, Lithuanian, Polish, Russian, Serbian, Slovak and Ukrainian heritage. We "Slavic" people have very beautiful traditions and customs, as you surf our web site, you will note that we promote the religious customs and unique traditions of the Byzantine Rite, Orthodox Catholics, Orthodox and Latin Rite Catholics.

Our hope is that as we move ahead with Leemar Ethnic Products, we will honor the memories and faith-filled traditions of our parents, while instilling pride in Slavic heritage to younger generations for years to come. Thank you for your continued and valued patronage.
